Ski resort Val d´Isere – Tignes wich is called "Espace Killy" inherited its name from french ski legend J.C. Killy. Espace Killy is placed on 10 000 hecaters between Poite du Montet Mountin (3428 m) and Grande Motte Mountain (3653 m) not far from italian border. Threefold winner of Olympic games Jean Claude Killy denoted it „the most beautiful ski resort all over the world“. It is up to you to find out, if he was right. In any case „Espace Killy“ offers on its 300 km of slopes really a lot for beginers, but also for real „ski gourmets“, apart from the endless possibilities for free-riding.

Val d´Isere ski resort, for its qualities, was picked couple times for
arranging ski tournamnts of world revalency. In 1992 the part of Winter
Olympic in Albertville games was hold in this resort. In 2009 the world
cup in alpine skiing was hold on the main slope in Face de Bellevare
and Tete Solaise and every year the world cup tournaments is enacted in
"Espace Killy".
Val d´Isere is very interresting place itself. The village with 1
640 residents becomes fussy town in winter - with many gorgeous
restaurants, bars and shopps with famous trades. The high quality of
accomodation of every cathegory is a matter of fact.
Despite a large number of tourists who come to Val d´Isere every
year, it has retain friendly „face“, very pleasant feeling and nature
of alpine village.
