Arlbergpass is georgaphically the most important mountain pass connecting Austrian confederative lands Tyrol Vorarlber.
Recently Arlberg district, autrian skiing cradle, is known especially for its prestigious ski resorts.
Arlberg ski resorts can be devided into two sorts: The first sort has excelent terrain for freeriding (maybe the best in Austira). Here we must mention St. Anton, St. Christoph and Zürs. Of course, also those who prefer skiing on slopes shall find their fad. But, just among us - who would go to Arlberg to ski on slopes? High quality of services and accomodation is a matter of fact.

Second sort of resorts consist of „luxury“ resorts Lech a Oberlech,
wich have perfectly maintained slopes, and with the calm atmosphere will
gratfy all those who love restful holiday in beautiful mountains. Who
want to enjoy real mountain experience, can drop in Oberlech and book in
some of sectional luxury hotels and ride to the slope right „from the
hotel door“. Lech and Oberlech are great places for family holiday.
Also in those resorts is true that freeride tracks are amazing.
Bytheway, Lech is the only resort in Austria where Heliskiingcan be
provided. .
All five resorts ar conneceted by the drag of tows and skibuses. Thank
to that fact the visitors can use one skipass for all 280 km of adapted
slopes.
