Ski resort Las Leňas in dependency Mendoza (known for gorgious red wine) is second most important winter resort in Argentina (after Cerro Catedral de Barlriloche). In 1989 The Women World Cup occured here.
Nothing what makes modern ski resort is mising, including ski-school, ski and sport equipment rental, restaurants and clubs.

Local slopes are friendly to begginers as well as to intermediate and advanced, both - skiers and snowboarders. Beside well maintained slopes, this resort is known for wide freeriding posibilities. For transportation you can use snow-tow Marte (Mars). This two-seated tow will lift free riding fans to the highest point of the resort, wich offers huge number of tracks back to the basic station of the tow. Or, if you want, you can use snow-breaker or helicopter. So called „catskiing“ and „heliskiing“ is organized by ski-school.
