Ruins of this very well known lost incan city lay out in Peru region Custo, about 75 km from town Custo, former capital of  Incan empire.  The real name of lost city is unknown, therefore it was named by the near peak Machu Pichu. In old Incan Ouechua language means „Old peak“. The city has an altitude 2 360 m and is surrounded by sharp edges covered by rampant vegetation. Thanks to that it was not discovored till 1911 (by american archeologist  Hiram Birngham). Some  legends about lost Incan city has appeared since 1568 and the first veracious information about Machu Pichu cams from the year 1782. Till its discovery in 1911 some news and informations about Machu Pichu appeared regularly.
Machu Pichu was built between 1460 and 1470 AD by Pachacuti Inca Yupanqui, an Incan ruler. Machu Picchu is comprised of approximately 200 buildings, most being residences, although there are temples, storage structures and other public buildings. It has polygonal masonry, characteristic of the late Inca period.
Most of the structures are built of granite blocks cut with bronze or stone tools, and smoothed with sand.

The blocks fit together perfectly without mortar, although none of the blocks are the same size and have many faces; some have as many as 30 corners. The building are so solid, that without any problems stand up against common earthquakes. In Machu Pichu there are about 50 grawes  with 173 earthly remains. Most of the grawes were helt up. But despite that some bronze, stone, bone, wood and pottery objects were found here. It is possible 1000 people liced here. The significance of Machu Pichu in unknown. There are no keys to that puzzle. One theory suggests that the town was abandoned unfinished thanks to the spanish invasion wich finaly  led to the end of Incan empire.
Mychu Pichu is one of the biggest teouristic attractions in Peru and every day invites about 2000 people. In 2007 fell under so called „new world wonder“. The place stream magic power wich unites with consternation over the amazing craftsmanshift of antient people.
